The room I stayed in was updated and outstanding and complete with 2 king sized beds and coffee and juice. The location was decent, close to the beach. The hotel was a useful base for enjoying a nice enough area.

The location was very good, close to centre and also the boardwalk
The room was rather cramped and the wash basin was in the main room, not even a separated area.

Very little..... almost nothing. Check in guy friendly/informative. Room cramped and almost no real space amenities.....not even room to lay our suitcases down flat because with not enough shelves or drawers to we needed to live out of our suitcases and had to "dodge" the suitcases to even go to bathroom. No desk to accomplish minor business decisions on Computer....had to do it from bed. No real mirror for comfortable dressing. Area felt very honky-tonk; classless. Everything nearby was "carnival like". City very enjoyable.....great vibe; lovely lunch. Rude checkout girl. Had asked for late checkout as we checked in late and needed a little extra time. She harassed us to leave or else an extra charge. Parking was ridiculous with spaces big enough for a Mini Cooper; not an SUV. Difficulty entering and leaving car for fear of hitting car next to us. Would never recommend Ocean Pacific Lodge to anyone looking for a lovely place on their California journey. Price was ridiculous for what we received. Now staying in Carmel at half the price with a sitting room; fireplace; amazing staff and owner. Breakfast delivered to room every morning.....not to mention amazing sites and views. Restaurants fabulous. Take a tip!

The rooms were clean..the spreads were white! The breakfast was plentiful and good. The pool and spa area was private and had nice foliage and ambiance.
The walls were very thin. You could hear the guests in the rooms around you.

Very friendly front desk person upon arrival. Adequate dog walking area(with pick-up bags) and very good location to the cliff's (surfer area) and boardwalk. I liked they use the "double sheet" method! Makes me feel much better about "germs!" Thanks.

The Beach!! Hotel is walking distance to the warf and beach, with a great historical Taco stand on the way! The staff was wonderful.
Outside landscaping, parking area landscaping. The waffle irons needed to be replaced, as they no longer heated up the waffles on the inside.

The two king beds were a pleasant surprise, especially since it provided us with ample space and comfort. The jacuzzi was a luxurious addition to the clean bathroom. While the toiletries could improve, the nice touch of earplugs showed attention to detail. It's also ideally located within walking distance to both the beach and downtown attractions, great for effortless exploration.

We were very pleased with the helpful staff and friendly staff, comfort of the room and convenience for our needs in the area. Also, it is a very good value, especially considering the generous breakfast that's included.
The plumbing fixtures were a bit tricky, especially faucets in the bathroom and hall sink. Given the great efforts in water conservation in the area, perhaps they should be updated.

All the staff--from the front desk to the maids were all very friendly. We had all the comforts of a big chain hotel with the friendliness of a small bed and breakfast. Couldn't beat the location either as we were there for the triathlon that weekend. If we come back for the triathlon again, we will definitely rebook here.

great stay but a few areas for improvement
The lodge's cleanliness. The spaciousness of the two king suite fit my family well.
The short walk to the boardwalk was nice, but some of the nearby roads were a bit noisy at night.

As our room was not ready when we arrived in the afternoon they upgraded us to a Suite which was of course great. The location of the hotel is perfect very near to the wharf, the beach and also the city center.
As the hotel is still under renovation there was painting going on. However that was not was us much disturbed the worst thing was that the internet was very slow. skype can not work properly as there are many interruptions. They normally have an option to buy faster internet but this was not available due to the renovation. As we came back at our second evening the room was not cleaned yet (around 4 pm) so we asked for it. They told us something like they are cleaning first the check- outs and them the others.
